371 North College Street
Auburn, AL 36830

Make Crenshaw your Auburn Home! This inviting Victorian combines peaceful 19th century atmosphere with the comforts of 21st century living. The Wedgewood Blue Crenshaw Guest House B&B, nestled among giant oak and pecan trees on an acre site, is only a short walk from downtown Auburn and the Auburn University campus. Listed on the National Register Of Historic Places, guest rooms in the 120 year old Main House feature 12 foot vaulted ceilings, gleaming porcelain, brass, and richly carved mantles which provide a perfect setting for an appealing collection of antique furniture. The Carriage House Building is a cozy addition to the original structure in a garden setting behind the Main House. Breakfast is served daily in the Garden Room, which looks out over the Carriage House gardens, old well house, and small pond.

HistoricStay.com Has Launched!

HistoricStay.com is a human-curated, invitation only

presentation of select historic lodging accommodations,

including bed & breakfasts, inns, hotels and lodges worldwide.

Historic lodging facilities (Stays) are demonstrably

significant to world history with respect to their architecture,

engineering, archeology or culture, as well as their location,

design, materials, workmanship, feeling or association.

Historic bed & breakfasts, inns, hotels and lodges offer

travelers a truly unique and memorable lodging experience.

They provide visitors a genuine opportunity to

connect with the past, while enjoying restful lodging,

excellent cuisine, gracious hospitality and more.

Sadly, countless historically significant structures

have been (and continue to be) lost forever.

Many of those that endure, do so largely because of the

vision, passion and dedication of devoted and enterprising

proprietors, companies and others, who (usually after great effort

and expense) offer them as living, interactive lodging facilities

reflecting the rich historical fabric within which they are woven.
